Finder View 1.0
By Go Endo
1. Good Old Days...
When System 7 came out what I missed most from System 6 was (aside from
speed)
the ease of customizing menus in the Finder. All you needed was ResEdit then.
In System 7, however, some menus are constructed at run time and there is no
way to modify them.
2. What is "Finder View"
"Finder View" installs command keys in Finder 7's View menu.
If Auto Number option is on, "Finder View" automatically installs command
keys 0 through whatever the number of items you have in the menu. Otherwise
each item has command keys specified in control panel.
3. Installing "Finder View"
"Finder View" REQUIRES System 7. If you try to run it under System 6, IT
WILL
CRASH.
Just drop "Finder View" in the control panel folder and reboot. "Finder
View"
creates a preferace file called "FV Pref" in your preference folder. DO NOT
move, rename or delete this file while using "Finder View".
